But, It&#8217;s time to make your backup plans if you had anything outdoors set for Sunday as a strong area of low pressure (a coastal low) will be developing south of our area and moving north.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday&#8217;s coastal storm is predicted to touch most, if not all, of the Delaware Valley.<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/wx-alert.png#.png\" alt=\"Coastal storm set to hit Philadelphia area, Jersey Shore with heavy rain, strong winds \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                CBS News Philadelphia<\/p>\n<p>Impacts will be widespread but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/philadelphia\/news\/weekend-storm-new-jersey-shore-atlantic-city-ventnor\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">felt the greatest along the shore<\/a> where high winds to 60mph along with up to 3&#8243; of rain will fall by Sunday afternoon. In addition, seas will be extremely rough with waves potentially 15-20&#8242; in spots so flooding is likely, especially around high tide.<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/sun-4pm.png#.png\" alt=\"sun-4pm.png \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                CBS News Philadelphia<\/p>\n<p>Closer to the I-95 corridor, winds to 40mph along with upwards of 1&#8243; of rain will be likely so power outages are a possibility as well as very slow travel Sunday and Monday.
