Police are investigating Friday a group of armed robbery suspects responsible for a brazen daylight theft outside a West Hollywood apartment.<\/p>\n
The victim, a man visiting from San Francisco, was robbed of his belongings and jewelry, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.<\/p>\n
The robbery was reported around 5:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of Hacienda Place just north of Santa Monica Boulevard.<\/p>\n
Security camera footage shared with NBCLA by the WeHo Times shows at least three burglary suspects hopping out of a vehicle and pointing what appears to be a weapon at the victim.<\/p>\n
“There were three masked men, all dressed in black and they threw this guy down on the ground,” said Mike Pingel, a WeHo Times reporter who witnessed the robbery.<\/p>\n
Among the items stolen were a Rolex watch, a wedding ring and a phone, which the thieves later through out, according to Pingel.<\/p>\n
“I can’t even explain the sheer terror. They weren’t even following him. They just stopped, saw him walking and threw him to the ground and stole everything,” said Pingel.<\/p>\n
It’s unclear how much the items that were stolen were worth.<\/p>\n
