ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 St. Johns County Fire Rescue said it rescued two adults whose boat took on water after striking a sandbar during a storm on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

Officials said the pair had no flotation devices on board and firefighters provided life jackets before bringing them to their vehicle. <\/p>\n

The boat was secured and anchored to shore.<\/p>\n

Officials are reminding people to check the weather before heading out on the water, as conditions can change fast.<\/p>\n
