NBC 5, Telemundo 39, and the Meadows Museum, SMU,\u00a0invite you to a new exhibit,\u00a0Roaming Mexico: Laura Wilson.\u00a0The exhibit runs now through January 11, 2026, in Dallas as part of the 2025-2026 exhibition season.<\/p>\n
Experience Mexico from the lens of Laura Wilson, featuring nearly 90 images, most of them never published, that capture the human experience. From the\u00a0northern\u00a0border down to the southern state of Oaxaca, get a glimpse of the colorful life and daily activities of everyday Mexican citizens.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Laura Wilson is a celebrated and esteemed documentary photographer. Her photographs have appeared on numerous publications, and she has published six photography books. She was closely involved in curating this exhibition, which spans four decades.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
This exhibit will be shown concurrently with\u00a0Manuel \u00c1lvarez Bravo: Visions of Mexico. Silver gelatin prints by renowned Mexican photographer Manuel \u00c1lvarez Bravo (1902\u20132002) from the Meadows Museum\u2019s collection, as well as select loans from the Dallas Museum of Art and Amon Carter Museum of American Art, draw viewers into a Mexico where the everyday and the enigmatic exist side by side.<\/p>\n
The museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday, with Thursday hours extending to 9:00 p.m. Sunday hours are from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Parking is free for museum visitors.<\/p>\n
