href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/fort-worth\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/fort-worth\/\">Fort Worth<\/a> after he was shot at by someone in a car, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">When officers responded to a shooting at about 6:35 p.m. Saturday, they found a man lying on the ground in the 2700 block of Woodmont Trail, Fort Worth police said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The man was shot in the torso and died at the location, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Investigators learned that before the shooting, the man had been a passenger inside a car driving near the intersection of the 6500 block of Brookhaven Trail and Altamesa Boulevard when a person in an unknown vehicle fired multiple rounds at the car the victim was inside, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The victim was shot as the suspect fled, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">As of Saturday night, police said no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>Crime in The News<\/p>\n<p
