The Department of Homeland Security have removed an ICE social media post which featured The Cure<\/a>\u2018s hit song, \u2018Friday I\u2019m In Love\u2019.<\/p>\n The video was published on the Department of Homeland Security\u2019s social media channels on October 2nd, and is titled, \u2018Life After All Criminal Aliens Are Deported\u2019. The montage consists of an array of bizarre clips ranging from Donald Trump in the 1980s to the David Lynch television series, Twin Peaks.<\/p>\n The post made on X, which has been viewed over 23 million times, has now had the video removed due to a DMCA takedown request. Additionally, the video has been muted on the Department of Homeland Security\u2019s Instagram, but is still available to watch on their Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last month,\u00a0comedian Theo Von<\/a>\u00a0pleaded with the Department of Homeland Security to delete an unauthorised clip of him that they included in a video promoting deportations.<\/p>\n Taking to X, Von shared his anger at being used in the clip without permission and asked for it to be taken down, writing: \u201cYooo DHS i didnt approve to be used in this. I know you know my address so send a check. And please take this down and please keep me out of your \u2018banger\u2019 deportation videos. When it comes to immigration my thoughts and heart are alot more nuanced than this video allows. Bye!\u201d<\/p>\n Rock band Blue \u00d6yster Cult also had their hit song<\/a> \u2018(Don\u2019t Fear) The Reaper\u2019 recently used by Trump <\/strong>in a bizarre AI-video that he posted on his social media platform, Truth Social. In\u00a0the clip<\/a>, Trump, who is wearing a black cloak, hits the cowbell while JD Vance is on drumming duties.
