Some areas could pick up one to one-half inch of rain<\/a> in the Valley. The foothills and mountain areas north and east of the Valley could get even more rainfall.<\/p>\n Here are the latest updates we’re tracking across the Valley and state during this storm system:<\/b> <\/p>\n 10:45 a.m.<\/b> <\/p>\n US 60 is closed in both directions near Miami, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.<\/p>\n The closure is due to flooding at milepost 241.<\/p>\n 9:30 a.m.<\/b> <\/p>\n The Globe-Miami area, which has seen major flooding issues in previous weeks, is now under a flash flood warning until 12:30 p.m.<\/p>\n 9:00 a.m.<\/b><\/p>\n Flights departing Sky Harbor are now getting out, with an average of 78-minute delays due to thunderstorms.<\/p>\n 8:40 a.m.<\/b><\/p>\n The Loop 202 near Cooper Road is now closed due to standing water.<\/p>\n Westbound Loop 202 Santan is now closed at Cooper. Pumps are working, but the storm cell that just passed over the SE Valley dropped a bunch of rain here.
