Are Jennifer Lopez<\/a> and Ben Affleck<\/a> getting back together?\n<\/p>\n

After the singer and actress, 56, and the actor, 53, had a friendly and surprise reunion<\/a> at the New York City premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman<\/a>, a source tells PEOPLE a rekindled romance is not in the cards for the pair.\n<\/p>\n

“Jennifer’s doing well. She’s focused on things that make her happy \u2014 family<\/a> and work<\/a>,” the insider says of Lopez.\n<\/p>\n

“She always enjoyed working with Ben<\/a>, this hasn’t changed,” they continue, adding: “There’s no romantic reunion with Ben<\/a>.”\n<\/p>\n

“They’re in a really good place. They continue to support each other. They’re both proud of what they accomplished together,” the source further explains.\n<\/p>\n

Affleck and Lopez met in 2002 and began dating. After\u00a0ending their engagement<\/a>\u00a0in 2004, they both pursued other relationships and started families of their own.\n<\/p>\n

The “All I Have” musician was married to\u00a0Marc Anthony<\/a>\u00a0from 2004 to 2014, and they are parents to twins\u00a0Max and Emme<\/a>. The Accountant 2 star, meanwhile, was married to\u00a0Jennifer Garner<\/a>\u00a0from 2005 to 2018, and they have three kids together:\u00a0Violet, Seraphina and Samuel<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

Lopez and Affleck later rekindled their romance<\/a>\u00a0in 2021. They\u00a0married in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony<\/a>\u00a0in July 2022, and they then celebrated their nuptials with a\u00a0ceremony in Georgia<\/a>\u00a0in front of friends and family a month later.\n<\/p>\n

The pair eventually decided to split, and Lopez\u00a0filed for divorce<\/a>\u00a0exactly two years later, citing irreconcilable differences.\n<\/p>\n

Lopez\u2019s upcoming musical,\u00a0Kiss of the Spider Woman<\/a>, sees Affleck serve as an executive producer. Artist Equity, his production company with Matt Damon<\/a>, co-produced the movie.\n<\/p>\n

At the New York City premiere of the film, Affleck\u00a0told Lopez she is “incredible”<\/a>\u00a0and praised director Bill Condon<\/a> for doing an “amazing job” with the project.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cMy goal was to empower great artists and tell moving stories and great opportunities for these kinds of great stories to be told and to work with the best directors in the world and the best material,\u201d the actor said in an introduction to the film. \u201cIn this movie, we did all that, and it\u2019s an honor to be here.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

During a recent CBS News Sunday Morning<\/a>, as she recalled working on the film while dealing with a tumultuous period with Affleck in her personal life, Lopez said, “It was a really tough time. Every moment on set, every moment I was doing this role, I was so happy, and then it was like, back home, it was not great. And it was just like, oh, you know, ‘How do I reconcile this?’ ”\n<\/p>\n
