{"id":298004,"date":"2025-10-12T19:12:11","date_gmt":"2025-10-12T19:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/298004\/"},"modified":"2025-10-12T19:12:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-12T19:12:11","slug":"jared-played-trump-to-line-his-own-pockets-wolff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/298004\/","title":{"rendered":"Jared Played Trump to Line His Own Pockets: Wolff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Donald Trump\u2019s (so-far) <a onclick=\"_sendArticleBodyInlineLinkClickAnalytics(&#039;https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/its-not-yet-a-nobel-moment-but-trumps-gaza-ceasefire-deal-is-a-glimmer-of-hope\/&#039;)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/its-not-yet-a-nobel-moment-but-trumps-gaza-ceasefire-deal-is-a-glimmer-of-hope\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/its-not-yet-a-nobel-moment-but-trumps-gaza-ceasefire-deal-is-a-glimmer-of-hope\/\">successful plan to end the conflict in Gaza<\/a> was orchestrated by Jared Kushner in a bid to make himself richer, according to Trump biographer Michael Wolff. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Speaking on the <a onclick=\"_sendArticleBodyInlineLinkClickAnalytics(&#039;https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/author\/inside-trumps-head\/&#039;)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/author\/inside-trumps-head\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/author\/inside-trumps-head\/\">Inside Trump\u2019s Head<\/a> podcast, Wolff outlined how Kushner, Donald Trump\u2019s son-in-law, played Qatar and the president in order to further his own business interests. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201c[Jared] craves influence in the Middle East. He craves business opportunities in the Middle East. He craves further, deeper relationships with the powerful people in the Middle East, all of which is helped by peace. Alex Wong\/Getty Images <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Kushner, 44, founded the private equity firm Affinity Partners in 2021, after the first Trump administration. Affinity Partners has substantial investments from several Middle Eastern countries, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Affinity Partners invests in American and Israeli companies in the Middle East with the goal of expanding in the territory. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Daily Beast has reached out to the White House and Jared Kushner for comment. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung has previously called Wolff \u201ca lying sack of s\u2014t\u201d who \u201chas been proven to be a fraud.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cHe routinely fabricates stories originating from his sick and warped imagination, only possible because he has a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain,\u201d he previously told the Beast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">On Oct. 1, White House Press Secretary <a onclick=\"_sendArticleBodyInlineLinkClickAnalytics(&#039;https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/karoline-leavitt-snaps-over-jared-kushners-business-dealings\/&#039;)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/karoline-leavitt-snaps-over-jared-kushners-business-dealings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/karoline-leavitt-snaps-over-jared-kushners-business-dealings\/\">Karoline Leavitt dismissed claims<\/a> of impropriety related to Kushner\u2019s peace negotiations and his business interests in the Middle East. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cI think it\u2019s frankly despicable that you\u2019re trying to suggest that it\u2019s inappropriate for Jared Kushner, who is widely respected around the world and has great trust and relationships with these critical partners in these countries, to strike a 20-point comprehensive detailed peace plan that no other administration would ever be able to achieve,\u201d she told a reporter asking about Kushner. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Kushner, the husband of Ivanka Trump, is technically not a part of the Trump administration but acts as an unpaid, informal adviser, particularly when it comes to the Middle East. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Wolff believes Kushner, along with real estate developer and US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, pressed their business connections with Middle Eastern royal families to broker the Israel and Hamas deal. On Friday, <a onclick=\"_sendArticleBodyInlineLinkClickAnalytics(&#039;https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/10\/09\/us\/politics\/jared-kushner-gaza-deal.html&#039;)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/10\/09\/us\/politics\/jared-kushner-gaza-deal.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/10\/09\/us\/politics\/jared-kushner-gaza-deal.html\">The New York Times<\/a> reported on the extent of the pair\u2019s involvement, which earned bipartisan praise. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThe Qataris basically say\u2026 we will come down hard on Hamas,\u201d outlined Wolff. \u201cAnd remember, Israel <a onclick=\"_sendArticleBodyInlineLinkClickAnalytics(&#039;https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/donald-trump-offers-awkward-apology-for-israels-qatar-attack\/&#039;)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/donald-trump-offers-awkward-apology-for-israels-qatar-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/donald-trump-offers-awkward-apology-for-israels-qatar-attack\/\">attacked the Hamas negotiators<\/a>, essentially the top Hamas leadership in Qatar. So they were completely freaked out about this. And I think they realized, this is not in our interest. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cSo it\u2019s essentially, \u2018We will come down hard on Hamas,\u2019 they say to Donald Trump\u2019s son-in-law, \u2018if the president of the United States will come down hard on [Israeli Prime Minister] Bibi Netanyahu.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Until recently, Trump, 79, did not address Israel\u2019s brutalities in the conflict, which has killed more than 67,000 Palestinian people, according to Gaza\u2019s Hamas-run health ministry. That was the case until Trump implied that if Netanyahu didn\u2019t sign his peace plan, the U.S. would <a onclick=\"_sendArticleBodyInlineLinkClickAnalytics(&#039;https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/donald-trump-insiders-reveal-everyone-has-totally-had-it-with-one-world-leader\/&#039;)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/donald-trump-insiders-reveal-everyone-has-totally-had-it-with-one-world-leader\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/donald-trump-insiders-reveal-everyone-has-totally-had-it-with-one-world-leader\/\">stop supporting Israel in the war<\/a>, according to a White House adviser. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cEssentially Bibi has had a free rein to continue this awful carnage with Trump at best looking the other way. Paul Loeb\/AFP via Getty Images <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The reason for Trump\u2019s sudden change in tune, according to Wolff, was the <a onclick=\"_sendArticleBodyInlineLinkClickAnalytics(&#039;https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/trump-reveals-peace-deal-in-hail-mary-attempt-at-nobel-prize\/&#039;)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/trump-reveals-peace-deal-in-hail-mary-attempt-at-nobel-prize\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/trump-reveals-peace-deal-in-hail-mary-attempt-at-nobel-prize\/\">imminent announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize<\/a>. Wolff believes Jared got Trump to turn on Netanyahu by telling the president that if he brokered a peace deal in the conflict, he would be a top candidate for the honor. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cAnd [Trump] comes down hard on Bibi, not least of all because Jared is good at this. He knows how to play his father-in-law. He comes down hard on Bibi in this eleventh-hour bid to win the Nobel Peace Prize,\u201d Wolff said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cHow can he get the Nobel Peace Prize? Well, by bringing peace to the Middle East, by solving the Gaza situation. Now, of course, he could have done that any time since last January when he became the president of the United States.
