{"id":298488,"date":"2025-10-12T23:37:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-12T23:37:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/298488\/"},"modified":"2025-10-12T23:37:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-12T23:37:14","slug":"dominant-majeski-wins-54th-winchester-400","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/298488\/","title":{"rendered":"Dominant Majeski Wins 54th Winchester 400"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WINCHESTER, Ind. \u2014 Ty Majeski claimed the winner\u2019s rifle in dominating fashion in winning the 54th\u00a0running of the Winchester 400.<\/p>\n<p>Majeski set fast time and started on the pole position Sunday in the ASA Stars National Tour event leading 350 of the 400 laps.<\/p>\n<p>He led the first 158 laps before being passed by defending race winner Cole Butcher following a restart following a competition yellow after 100 laps of green flag racing.<\/p>\n<p>Majeski reclaimed the point following a restart on lap 204 after Gavin Boschele made contact with the outside retaining wall and stopped on the front sttraight.<\/p>\n<p>The race was slowed only seven times for caution periods, but three in the final 100 laps with the leaders pitting for tires on lap 302 and lap 334.<\/p>\n<p>Blake Rowe elected to remain out on caution period, but was passed by Majeski on the restart.<\/p>\n<p>The final caution flag waved on lap 386 for debris setting up a 10-lap race to the checkers.<\/p>\n<p>Majeski was able to hold off Dawson Sutton on the final restart to win by 1.4 seconds with Butcher, Billy VanMeter and Stephen Nasse rounding out the top five.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to thank everyone for preparing this race car,\u201d Majeski said of his dominating performance. \u201cWinning the Winchester 400 is pretty cool.
