Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is ensuring that he remains at his peak physical condition during the October international break.<\/p>\n
Since Ruben Amorim<\/a> arrived at Old Trafford<\/a>, it has been difficult for Mainoo<\/a> to insert himself into his plans. Amorim has already made it clear that the Stockport-born midfielder is in direct competition with Bruno Fernandes<\/a> for a place in his starting XI which has hindered his minutes.<\/p>\n Mainoo has played in the more advanced No.10 role but since the arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, the 20-year-old has struggled to find a place their too. A lack of minutes this season led to the midfielder requesting a loan move away from Old Trafford.<\/a><\/p>\n With the World Cup on the horizon at the end of the season, Mainoo<\/a> needs to be playing to stand a chance of making Thomas Tuchel’s squad. Whilst in the heat of Spain, Mainoo has continued to train on the pitch and in the gym.<\/p>\n The midfielder also posted pictures of himself in the gym with the caption ‘blessed’.
