A teenager has been charged with torture after he allegedly forced another boy into the boot of a car before assaulting him with a hammer and knife west of Brisbane.<\/p>\n
Police allege the 17-year-old went to a Moorooka address with another boy at around 6pm on Sunday, where they met with two other boys, aged 14 and 15.<\/p>\n
The 17-year-old had allegedly connected with the two teenagers earlier that day on social media.<\/p>\n
All four then drove to Redbank Plains, where police allege the 17-year-old threatened the 14-year-old and 15-year-old with a knife.<\/p>\n
Both boys fled the car, but the 15-year-old was “caught by the 17-year-old boy and forced into the boot”, police allege.<\/p>\n

“It is alleged the car was then driven to the New Chum area, where the boy was removed from the boot and assaulted with a hammer and a knife,” a Queensland Police spokesperson said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Police allege the boy was “subject to further assaults and threats for [about] 20 minutes”, before he fled and sought assistance from a member of the public.<\/p>\n
Crime scene declared<\/p>\n
The 15-year-old was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.<\/p>\n
Police said the 14-year-old boy suffered no physical injuries.<\/p>\n
Overnight, a crime scene was declared at a home in the nearby suburb of One Mile, where the 17-year-old was arrested.<\/p>\n
He has now been charged with deprivation of liberty, armed robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm, wounding, torture and possession of a drug utensil.<\/p>\n
He is due to appear in the Ipswich Childrens Court on Monday.<\/p>\n
