{"id":298932,"date":"2025-10-13T03:45:13","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T03:45:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/298932\/"},"modified":"2025-10-13T03:45:13","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T03:45:13","slug":"mass-general-brigham-turning-to-ai-to-ease-primary-care-doctor-shortage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/298932\/","title":{"rendered":"Mass General Brigham turning to AI to ease primary care doctor shortage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mass General Brigham has turned to artificial intelligence to address\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/2025\/05\/12\/business\/mgb-invest-primary-care-doctors-union\/?p1=Article_Inline_Text_Link\" class=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a critical shortage of primary care doctors<\/a>, launching an AI app that questions patients, reviews medical records, and produces a list of potential diagnoses.<\/p>\n<p>Called \u201cCare Connect,\u201d the platform was launched on Sept. 9 for the 15,000 MGB patients\u00a0<a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/2025\/01\/30\/business\/primary-care-massachusetts-doctors-patients-emergency-rooms\/?p1=Article_Inline_Text_Link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">without a primary care doctor<\/a>. A chatbot that is available 24\/7 interviews the patient, then sets up a telehealth appointment with a physician in as little as half an hour.
