spill of the highly flammable liquid around a plane on the tarmac, according to footage and authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The disastrous spill occurred on Saturday while the staffer refuelling an American Eagle aircraft parked at a gate in Terminal E of Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, American Airlines confirmed in a statement to The Post.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.95419847;display:block\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"37365870\" width=\"1024\" height=\"524\" hose, causing fuel to uncontrollably spray out of the nozzle as it viciously snaked underneath the aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>Video <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/aviationbrk\/status\/1977382224421904502\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">posted to social media<\/a> captured a ground worker appearing to lose their grip on the refuelling hose, causing jet fuel to uncontrollably spray out of the nozzle as the hose viciously snaked underneath the aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>The worker appeared to walk away from the scene as large pools of the flammable fuel began to form. <\/p>\n<p>The airport\u2019s spill containment infrastructure captured the spill, and the surface was cleaned, a spokesperson for Dallas-Fort Worth Airport told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>The exact amount of fuel spilled is not yet clear. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.95419847;display:block\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"37365871\" width=\"1024\" height=\"524\" incident with DFW Airport and the airport\u2019s fueling contractor, Menzies, and worked together on the cleanup per procedure,\u201d American Airlines said.<\/p>\n<p>Menzies did not respond to a
