GOING CROWDS AND COMMUNITY DEMAND MARKING A NEW EXCITING CHAPTER AS THE 48TH ANNUAL SACRAMENTO JEWISH FOOD FAIR GETS EVEN LARGER. WE FIRST CAUGHT UP WITH THE PEOPLE INSIDE THE KITCHEN. THAT FESTIVAL HAS GROWN EXPONENTIALLY OVER THE YEARS. IT\u2019S NOW HELD AT THE SCOTTISH RITE MASONIC CENTER TO ACCOMMODATE THE MASSES WITH FAVORITES LIKE MATZO BALL SOUP, PASTRAMI SANDWICHES, LOX, BAGELS, SCHMEAR AND A LIVELY WINE GARDEN. THE YEARLY GATHERING INVITES EVERYONE. I ENJOY GOING TO FOOD FESTIVALS OF ANY SORT, AND YESTERDAY I ENDED UP AT THE SERBIAN FOOD FESTIVAL AND I FOUND OUT THERE WAS A JEWISH FOOD FESTIVAL HERE AND I HAD TO GO. THE FUN AND THE PEOPLE AND THE CULTURE. IT\u2019S TRY NEW FOODS, THAT KIND OF THING. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A PHENOMENON AND I\u2019M SO PROUD OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE PUT IT ON. AND I HAVEN\u2019T MISSED IT FOR YEARS. I MEAN, I\u2019VE GONE EVERY YEAR, AND NOW YOU HAD TO GET HERE EARLY JUST TO GET A. LISTEN, THE LOX BAGELS. BUT THE CAPERS, LITTLE TOMATO, ONION. MAN COULD GO FOR SOME RIGHT NOW. THE FESTIVAL ALSO ADDED A FIRST EVER THIS YEAR. TH\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe 48th annual Sacramento Jewish Food Fair took place at Scottish Rite Masonic Center center on Sunday. With favorites like matzo ball soup, pastrami sandwiches, lox bagels, schmear, and a lively wine garden, the yearly gathering invited everyone in a much larger venue than Congregation Beth Shalom, where it has usually taken place.
