{"id":300582,"date":"2025-10-13T18:35:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T18:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/300582\/"},"modified":"2025-10-13T18:35:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T18:35:12","slug":"phoenix-sky-harbor-traffic-delayed-by-low-cloud-coverage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/300582\/","title":{"rendered":"Phoenix Sky Harbor traffic delayed by low cloud coverage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX \u2013 Low cloud coverage is causing widespread delays for flights out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Over 250 Sky Harbor departures were delayed as of 11 a.m., according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyharbor.com\/flights\/delayed-canceled-and-diverted-flights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the airport\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Flight-tracking website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flightaware.com\/live\/cancelled\/today\/KPHX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">FlightAware<\/a> listed delays for 366 flights into or out of the Phoenix hub.<\/p>\n<p>The average Sky Harbor flight delay was over 80 minutes at 8 a.m., according to a Federal Aviation Administration <a href=\"https:\/\/nasstatus.faa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">ground delay notice<\/a>. It was a little over 50 minutes as of 11 a.m. and projected to remain in that range for several hours because of low ceilings.<\/p>\n<p>Phoenix air travel has been disrupted by <a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-news\/flight-delays-phoenix-sky-harbor-2\/5760744\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">weather<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-news\/flight-delays-phoenix-sky-harbor\/5760183\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">staffing issues<\/a> attributed to the government shutdown several times in recent days.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"twitter-follow-button\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kstonezone\" data-show-count=\"false\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Follow @kstonezone<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We want to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px;\">Have a story idea or tip?
