The game starts at 6:30 p.m. and should last about an hour. <\/p>\n<p>Fans entering the stadium after 6:30 p.m. will receive free admission and seating, which will includes stadium and in-field seating. All seats are first come, first serve. People wanting to attend can <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/blw-lifted-trucks-western-wiffle-ball-classic-at-scottsdale-stadium-tickets-1419544679349?aff=oddtdtcreator\">reserve tickets<\/a> on Eventbrite. Scottsdale Stadium is located at 7408 E. Osborn Road, Scottsdale.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be in the same stadium and watch Field of Dreams with Kevin Costner,\u201d Western Wiffle Ball League founder Logan Rose said in the event announcement. \u201cI was one of those kids inspired by the movie, and thanks to my parents, we built our own wiffle ball field in my backyard so I could literally play on my own field of dreams. And here we are today, meeting the man who inspired it all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rose, a Valley resident, founded his own league and event as a teenager during the pandemic. In 2025, the Western Wiffle Ball Classic will welcome teams from more than 20 states, including Arizona, California, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts, as they battle for bragging rights and a trophy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cField of Dreams,\u201d based on the novel \u201cShoeless Joe\u201d by W.P. Kinsella, is the story of an Iowa farmer who hears a disembodied voice that leads him to build a baseball diamond in the middle of his cornfield. The movie was nominated for three Academy Awards. It also stars Amy Madigan, Ray Liotta, Gaby Hoffman, James Earl Jones and Burt Lancaster.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time this year that Costner has visited Scottsdale.
