{"id":300889,"date":"2025-10-13T21:15:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T21:15:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/300889\/"},"modified":"2025-10-13T21:15:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T21:15:12","slug":"countdown-nye-moves-to-los-angeles-convention-center-with-2025-lineup-orange-county-register","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/300889\/","title":{"rendered":"Countdown NYE moves to Los Angeles Convention Center with 2025 lineup \u2013 Orange County Register"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2023\/03\/29\/how-insomniac-events-will-celebrate-its-30th-anniversary-at-festivals-in-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Insomniac Events<\/a> has revealed the lineup for the 11th edition of its annual New Year\u2019s Eve festival, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2024\/09\/17\/insomniacs-countdown-nye-zedd-alesso-marshmello-chris-lake-diplo-galantis-are-set-to-play\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Countdown NYE<\/a>, which moves to a new home this year, the Los Angeles Convention Center.<\/p>\n<p>The intergalactic-themed event will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 31, transforming the downtown venue into a sprawling, space-inspired playground with four stages, large-scale art installations, and the return of the fan-favorite Red Light District.<\/p>\n<p>Leading the 2025 lineup is house music favorite John Summit, Grammy-nominated electronic trio Above &amp; Beyond, and Eric Prydz performing under his progressive house alias Pryda. The bill also includes Madeon, SLANDER, Sub Focus, Crankdat, and Wuki, rounding out a mix of house, bass, and drum and bass acts set to perform from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Other notable artists include Los Angeles\u2019 own AK Sports, viral tech house duo Ship Wrek, and rising UK producer MPH. Fans of harder sounds can expect sets from techno and hard dance acts Kobosil, Cera Khin, Clara Cuv\u00e9, Kevin de Vries, and Shl\u00f8mo, as well as newer names like southstar, Starjunk 95, Gravagerz, and Marie Nyx.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for Countdown NYE are on sale now at <a href=\"https:\/\/countdownnye.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">countdownnye.com<\/a>, with general admission and VIP options available. VIP passes include expedited entry, exclusive viewing areas, and access to premium food and beverage options. The event is open to ages 18 and up, with VIP restricted to 21+.<\/p>\n<p>This year marks <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2023\/06\/24\/insomniac-day-trip-festival-fans-arrive-with-safety-concerns-but-still-ready-to-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Countdown\u2019s<\/a> first move to downtown Los Angeles after a decade at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailybulletin.com\/2025\/09\/10\/thirty-years-of-dancing-in-the-dark-nocturnal-wonderland-turns-30\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NOS Events Center<\/a> in San Bernardino. Organizers say the change allows for a larger indoor production while keeping the festival\u2019s signature futuristic aesthetic.
