PHOENIX \u2014Spooky Safari is bringing fang-tastic activities to the Phoenix Zoo so families can have a fright to remember.<\/p>\n

The event will be<\/a> at the zoo, located at 455 N. Galvin Parkway<\/a>, for three days from Oct. 22 to Oct. 24.<\/p>\n

On those days, the Halloween-themed celebration will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

What is there to do at the Phoenix Zoo\u2019s Spooky Safari?<\/p>\n

Attendees are encouraged to enchant and amaze by dressing up in costumes.<\/p>\n

Candy stations will be set up across the zoo, giving kids the feeling of trick-or-treating from the animals themselves as they explore each exhibit.<\/p>\n

Other spooktacular activities at the event will include face painting, a dance party with live music and characters and mascots in costumes. Ghoulish games and a Dr. T-Rex interactive science show will also be available to entertain families.<\/p>\n

There will be a costume parade every hour as well as other forms of entertainment that haven\u2019t yet been announced.<\/p>\n

In addition to the free activities, guests can go for a spin on the Endangered Species Carousel and ride a camel for an extra cost.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the event<\/a> are $18 for both adults and children. However, kids 2 and under get in for free.<\/p>\n
