{"id":301640,"date":"2025-10-14T03:52:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T03:52:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/301640\/"},"modified":"2025-10-14T03:52:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T03:52:10","slug":"injured-barcelona-attacker-pushing-hard-to-return-in-time-for-girona-clash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/301640\/","title":{"rendered":"Injured Barcelona attacker pushing hard to return in time for Girona clash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FC Barcelona will resume the defence of their La Liga title this weekend when they take on Catalan rivals Girona at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.<\/p>\n<p>Leading up to the game, the Blaugrana have received some positive news with regard to injuries as Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez have <a href=\"https:\/\/barcauniversal.com\/major-boost-for-barcelona-as-key-duo-resume-normal-training-ahead-of-girona-clash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">returned to normal training<\/a> and could be available on 18 October.<\/p>\n<p>However, the same cannot be said of key attacker Raphinha, whose <a href=\"https:\/\/barcauniversal.com\/barcelona-winger-remains-a-major-doubt-to-face-girona-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">involvement remains in doubt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Raphinha pushing to be fit for Girona<\/p>\n<p>Now, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sport.es\/es\/noticias\/barca\/raphinha-aprieta-girona-sigue-algodones-122577239\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Carlos Monfort of SPORT<\/a>, Raphinha is pushing himself to return as soon as possible. <\/p>\n<p>The Bar\u00e7a winger is training intensively, for now, within the gym \u2013 with his eyes set on the upcoming match against Girona.<\/p>\n<p>Raphinha suffered a hamstring injury in the win against Real Oviedo a couple of weeks ago. The club initially announced an estimated recovery time of three weeks.
