A day later, Aaron Glenn admitted his mistake at the end of the first half.<\/a><\/p>\n

In hindsight, he would\u2019ve attempted a Hail Mary rather than letting the clock run out in the Jets\u2019 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI wish I could\u2019ve [taken] the clock down to five seconds and just threw a Hail Mary, to be honest with you,\u201d he said over Zoom. \u201cBut at that point, I wanted no confusion, so let\u2019s just get out of the half, we get the ball back in the second half, and let\u2019s get ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cThat\u2019s a mistake that I made, and I hold myself accountable for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glenn was criticized for his decision not to be more aggressive at the end of the half<\/a>, especially after a successful fake punt on 4th-and-1 with 1:04 left and the Jets at their own 37-yard line. <\/p>\n

Oddly, the Jets then handed the ball off to Breece Hall after using a timeout to stop the clock. Glenn said there was uncertainty as to whether they had packed up a first down after Justin Fields completed a 6-yard third-down pass to Josh Reynolds, with one official signaling a first down and another saying it was short. <\/p>\n

That\u2019s why he opted not to let the clock wind down on 4th-and-1 from their 47 with around 27 seconds left, rather than attempt to get closer for a Nick Folk field goal attempt.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know this is hindsight, but if we didn\u2019t make it, they have a timeout and they\u2019re right at the 50-yard line, which now is the point that I\u2019m almost giving those guys points,\u201d Glenn said.<\/p>\n

Star receiver Garrett Wilson received good news on his injured knee, according to ESPN.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

An MRI showed no serious damage, although he is expected to miss a few weeks with a hyperextension. Wilson was seen limping in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium locker room after the loss.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
