Ana Navarro<\/a> slammed Attorney General Pam Bondi<\/a> on Monday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe View<\/a>\u201d during a segment on the AG seemingly embracing<\/a> \u201cSNL<\/a>\u201d host Amy Poehler parodying<\/a> her wild hearing<\/a> with the Senate Judiciary Committee.<\/p>\n

Navarro \u2014 after host Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> asked if Bondi leaning into Poehler mocking her is the \u201cright\u201d move \u2014 argued that the \u201cSNL<\/a>\u201d cold open on the AG could be seen as a \u201crite of passage\u201d for her with the MAGA base.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve known Pam Bondi for a long time, I haven\u2019t spoken to her obviously in a few years but this is a completely different Pam Bondi than the person I knew in Florida who was an affable, nice, southern \u2014,\u201d said \u201cThe View\u201d host and ex-GOP political strategist, referring to Bondi\u2019s time as Florida Attorney General.<\/p>\n

Navarro went on to add that she thinks Bondi is \u201cloving\u201d the \u201cSNL\u201d cold open<\/a> that sees Poehler hurling insults and dodging questions from lawmakers. In a surprise cameo, Poehler is later joined by fellow \u201cSNL\u201d alum Tina Fey, who plays a gun-toting Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.<\/p>\n

Bondi took to social media<\/a> on Sunday and shared a screenshot of Poehler alongside Fey, writing, \u201d.@Sec_Noem, should we recreate this picture in Chicago? Loving Amy Poehler!\u201d<\/p>\n

Navarro shared her blunt take on Bondi to her fellow hosts on \u201cThe View.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFrankly, I think what she\u2019s doing to the institution of the DOJ and the oversight in Congress is shameful and embarrassing and is going to go down in history as one of the worst performances by an attorney general in front of Congress,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Moments later, host Sara Haines said the only way someone can reply to comedy is to lean into it because \u201cotherwise you just look dumb.\u201d<\/p>\n
