Austin Gilbert has found a new home on Team Reba McEntire. On the Oct. 13 episode of The Voice, Team Michael Bubl\u00e9\u2019s two country artists\u2014Gilbert and Rob Cole\u2014decided to pair up for the Battle Round<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singers<\/a> both delighted with their rehearsals of Blake Shelton\u2019s \u201cHoneybee,\u201d leaving their coach with a tough decision that he chose to base on \u201cstar potential.\u201d<\/p>\n

After delighting the crowd with their performance of the country classic, the coaches had nothing but praise for the guys.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt the spirit of Blake Shelton while y\u2019all were singing that,\u201d Snoop Dogg quipped, before complimenting both men\u2019s vocal abilities.<\/p>\n

For his part, Niall Horan thought Gilbert delivered an unforgettable performance, but said he\u2019d pick Cole as the winner because his vocals were \u201cclear as day.\u201d<\/p>\n

McEntire disagreed with Horan, and said she\u2019d pick Gilbert as the winner.<\/p>\n

Bubl\u00e9 was impressed by Gilbert\u2019s \u201csweet, beautiful voice,\u201d but wound up selecting Cole because he delivered his \u201cbest performance yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRob is my country super star,\u201d Bubl\u00e9 told the cameras after his tough choice.<\/p>\n

Gilbert thanked Bubl\u00e9 for his coaching and left the stage to give him a goodbye hug. As they were embracing, McEntire hit her button to save Gilbert, causing him to drop to the floor in shock.<\/p>\n

He shouldn\u2019t have been surprised, though. During his Blind Audition, McEntire didn\u2019t turn around, leaving him to choose between Bubl\u00e9 and Horan as his coach.<\/p>\n

However, when she addressed him, she said, \u201cLet them fight over you and I will steal you later.\u201d And that\u2019s just what she did.<\/p>\n

After he composed himself, Gilbert made his way back up to the stage. As he stood there and took it all in, McEntire told him, \u201cYour enthusiasm, your big heart, your gorgeous voice, you\u2019re a cowboy. I\u2019m so thrilled that you\u2019re now a part of Team Reba.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cThank you so much for making my dreams come true,\u201d Gilbert told McEntire.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019m going to make you proud, ma\u2019am.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later, McEntire told the cameras, \u201cI love everything about Austin. He had a childlike attitude about it. I just loved his voice. That\u2019s why I wanted to steal him. I think it\u2019s really going to do well for my team.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Voice<\/a> airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.<\/p>\n
