New York Attorney General Letitia James struck a defiant tone Monday at a campaign rally for mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, marking her first public appearance since being indicted on federal fraud charges tied to a Virginia home purchase.<\/p>\n

The panel broke free from its steel frame and was carried about 20 feet by the wind before hitting Lyudmila Braun, who later died at a hospital.<\/p>\n
