All images courtesy of Piexoto Coffee Roasters.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Two culinary masters in Phoenix have aligned like yin and yang at CP Coffee and P\u00e2tisserie, featuring specialty coffee from <a href=\"https:\/\/peixotocoffee.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Peixoto Coffee Roasters<\/a> and the edible art of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chaconnepatisserie.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chac\u00f3nne Patisserie<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Julia Peixoto Peters, founder of the coffee business with direct ties to Brazil, teamed with award-winning baker and Chac\u00f3nne Patisserie founder Mark Chac\u00f3n to create the umbrella brand, where top-shelf coffees and pastries share the spotlight on conjoined stages within a single food-and-beverage theater in the city center.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2025\/10\/14\/peixoto-coffee-shares-the-spotlight-at-cp-coffee-and-patisserie-in-phoenix\/cp-coffee-and-patisserie-phoenix-pastry\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-191464 noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-191464\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/CP-Coffee-and-Patisserie-Phoenix-pastry.jpg\" alt=\"CP Coffee and Pa\u0302tisserie Phoenix pastry\" width=\"1240\" height=\"827\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A rounded bar shaped for flow and symmetry stretches through the space. Customers can find almond croissants, pistachio cream puffs, passionfruit entremets and other sumptuous gems lining extensive multitiered cases. A jade-green tile section of the counter is filled with breads, cakes, tarts and viennoiserie.<\/p>\n<p>At a separate bar section fronted with terracotta tiles, a three-group Sanremo Opera espresso machine pairs with dual Victoria Arduino\/Simonelli Mythos grinders for the espresso program and a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/tag\/mahlkonig-ek43\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mahlk\u00f6nig EK43<\/a> for manual pourovers, opposite a row of taps dispensing cold beverages made in-house.<\/p>\n<p>Golden elements on the pastry side evoke Parisian bakeries, while the Peixoto side features raw finishes indicative of coffee\u2019s agricultural nature.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2025\/10\/14\/peixoto-coffee-shares-the-spotlight-at-cp-coffee-and-patisserie-in-phoenix\/cp-coffee-and-patisserie-phoenix-piexoto\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-191465 noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-191465\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/CP-Coffee-and-Patisserie-Phoenix-Piexoto.jpg\" alt=\"CP Coffee and Pa\u0302tisserie Phoenix Piexoto\" width=\"1240\" height=\"1550\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On the menu, the sole overlapping item is the Sip of CP \u2014 a 3-ounce snifter filled with Peixoto\u2019s light-roasted natural process Familia espresso topped with housemade chantilly whipped cream, rimmed with burnt honey caramel made by Chac\u00f3n, plus Maldon salt. The drink comes with an additional spoonful of caramel to be savored slowly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Customers can indulge in Sips and other treats in a combined seating area under a spiral chandelier, with modern leather-lined furniture and huge floral murals bursting with color.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2025\/10\/14\/peixoto-coffee-shares-the-spotlight-at-cp-coffee-and-patisserie-in-phoenix\/cp-coffee-and-patisserie-phoenix-seating\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-191466 noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-191466\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/CP-Coffee-and-Patisserie-Phoenix-seating.jpg\" alt=\"CP Coffee and Pa\u0302tisserie Phoenix seating\" width=\"1240\" height=\"827\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a collaborative space whereby our two businesses and brands still operate independently,\u201d Julia Peixoto Peters told Daily Coffee News. \u201cThe exclusive beverage we are offering celebrates the partnership between this chef, who is celebrated for his high-cuisine patisserie, and our family coffees with a long line of legacy and tradition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Within the 2,250-square-foot facility, space is allocated proportionally according to the needs of each business, with distinct back-of-house areas and front-of-house counters, while seating is shared throughout the cafe.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2015 with its original roastery cafe in Chandler, Peixoto Coffee Roasters opened a second location in Gilbert in 2022. Roasting for all three locations continues on a 30-kilo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.primoroasting.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Primo<\/a> roaster inside the company\u2019s current 9,500-square-foot roastery in Chandler, where a 15-kilo machine stands as backup.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2025\/10\/14\/peixoto-coffee-shares-the-spotlight-at-cp-coffee-and-patisserie-in-phoenix\/cp-coffee-and-patisserie-phoenix-espresso\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-191462 noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-191462\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/CP-Coffee-and-Patisserie-Phoenix-espresso.jpg\" alt=\"CP Coffee and Pa\u0302tisserie Phoenix espresso\" width=\"1240\" height=\"1550\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With coffees from Colombia, Ethiopia and elsewhere rounding out its offerings, Peixoto remains focused on Brazilian coffees, especially <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2015\/11\/16\/peixoto-coffee-grows-a-family-business-from-brazilian-farm-to-cup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beans from the owners\u2019 family farm<\/a>. While the Trump administration\u2019s tariffs on goods from coffee-producing countries are pinching coffee businesses, the 50% tariff on Brazilian goods could have an outsize impact on small businesses like Peixoto.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe tariff situation is yet another \u2018big wave\u2019 coming directly at us,\u201d Peixoto Peters said. \u201cWe have been controlling our coffee inventory closely this whole year and are trying to time the entry of our next harvest around a possible tariff exemption or reduction.
