San Diego should be painting the town\u2019s curbs red<\/p>\n

Regarding \u201cdaylighting\u201d law enforcement (\u201cLa Jolla remains a hot spot for \u2018daylighting\u2019 tickets,\u201d<\/a> La Jolla Crime and Public Safety News, Oct. 9, La Jolla Light):<\/p>\n

It seems to me there is a disconnect between enforcement of the new daylighting law and painting curbs red.<\/p>\n

Why isn\u2019t the city [of San Diego] prioritizing painting those curbs that are getting the most tickets? A more cynical person might say it\u2019s because the city wants violation revenue more than driver compliance.<\/p>\n
