{"id":303437,"date":"2025-10-14T19:42:21","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T19:42:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/303437\/"},"modified":"2025-10-14T19:42:21","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T19:42:21","slug":"education-jobs-focus-of-opportunity-center-in-stowe-twp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/303437\/","title":{"rendered":"Education, jobs focus of Opportunity Center in Stowe Twp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aiming to assist residents in McKees Rocks and Stowe Township with job training and employment opportunities, residents and officials celebrated the opening of a new Opportunity Center Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u200aWe are not just simply cutting a ribbon,\u201d said Monique McIntosh, president and CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodwillswpa.org\/\" class=\"Link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Goodwill of Southwestern PA<\/a>. \u201cWe are opening doors, doors to opportunity to equity, to the kind of work that restores pride and builds futures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The center \u2014 located in the Allegheny County Housing Authority\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.achsng.com\/sites.asp?id=72\" class=\"Link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Pleasant Ridge community<\/a> \u2014 will connect people to career coaching, job placement support, workforce programs, and other services, officials said.
