After co-host Whoopi Goldberg asked the guest to continue, Hines argued that Dr. Anthony Fauci \u2013 who headed the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases under former President Joe Biden \u2013 had spread misinformation about COVID vaccines.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were also still learning about it. It was a novel virus we\u2019ve never encountered before,\u201d co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin objected.<\/p>\n
Hostin chimed in: \u201cAnd Dr. Fauci has a medical degree.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hines argued that her husband\u2019s vaccine skepticism was challenged during the peak of the pandemic.<\/p>\n
\u201cBobby said, Where\u2019s the science to show us this? And there wasn\u2019t any. But people attacked him and said, you\u2019re wrong,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n
