Jason Kelce is speaking out after \u201cfake quotes\u201d regarding Bad Bunny\u2019s upcoming Super Bowl halftime show<\/a> were wrongly attributed to him.<\/p>\n

In a message posted Tuesday on X<\/a>, the retired Eagles center made it clear that \u201cunless you hear something directly from me,\u201d consider what\u2019s being conveyed elsewhere false, as the apparent viral remarks<\/a> \u2014 \u201cIf Bad Bunny is a bad fit for the Super Bowl, then maybe the people making these comments are a bad fit for America\u2019s future\u201d \u2014 were incorrectly pegged to Kelce, 37.<\/p>\n

\u201cI normally don\u2019t comment on things like this, but I feel I need to address that there are a number of accounts posting fake quotes and attributing them to me on this platform right now. I appreciate @X putting community notes on several and I will not address the other accounts specifically, because I do not want to amplify their engagement. But please know, unless you hear something directly from me via one of my platforms, it is not real,\u201d the current ESPN analyst expressed in a post that has since amassed 1.8 million views.<\/p>\n

Since the NFL announced last month that Bad Bunny will perform at the big game next Februay, the decision has been at the center of controversy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

President Trump called the choice \u201cabsolutely ridiculous,\u201d<\/a> while NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson implored Bad Bunny to \u201ckeep his ass\u201d away from the league\u2019s biggest stage if he feels a particular way about the U.S.<\/p>\n

The three-time Grammy winner, who hails from Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory, has been critical of Trump and previously told I-D<\/a> he did not include tour stops in America over fears about the possibility of ICE being present at his shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were many reasons why I didn\u2019t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate \u2014 I\u2019ve performed there many times,\u201d said Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Mart\u00ednez Ocasio.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026 But there was the issue of \u2014 like, f\u2013king ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it\u2019s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.\u201d<\/p>\n
