Beatles legend Paul McCartney is performing for a fourth time in Central Iowa. K-C-C-I’s Abigail Kurten is outside the Casey’s Center… Abigail… you got a glimpse of him earlier today? I did. Just a few hours ago I was joined by about fourty fans from all over the country. And i even got to witness one of them get the birthday gift of a lifetime. There were all types of fans outside the loading dock of the Casey’s Center Tuesday afternoon. From younger fans… To seasoned supporters. Tuesday’s show marks the third time Myers has seen McCartney in Des Moines. He, along with the dozens of other fans, waited almost three hours in the cold and rain for even a chance to see one of their idols. But by some stroke of luck, Myers didn’t get to just see McCartney… PAUL MCCARTNEY YELLS HAPPY BIRTHDAY He got a birthday blessing from the man himself. And if you can’t tell from the smile on his face, this might have been one of the best birthday gifts he could have asked for. Tonight’s show marks McCartney’s 4th performance in central Iowa.
