It overshot on barbecue and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/restaurant-news\/2024\/12\/27\/why-did-michelin-overlook-tex-mex-and-mexican-food-in-d-fw\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/restaurant-news\/2024\/12\/27\/why-did-michelin-overlook-tex-mex-and-mexican-food-in-d-fw\/\">undershot on Mexican and Tex-Mex<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Enter El Carlos Elegante, one of the few Mexican restaurants in D-FW with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/2024\/11\/11\/dallas-fort-worth-michelin-star-restaurant-winners\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/2024\/11\/11\/dallas-fort-worth-michelin-star-restaurant-winners\/\">Recommended status in 2024<\/a>. The Recommended honor is given to restaurants that aren\u2019t quite star status but were enjoyed by Michelin critics.
