{"id":306662,"date":"2025-10-16T00:14:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T00:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/306662\/"},"modified":"2025-10-16T00:14:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T00:14:14","slug":"la-found-program-gets-gps-tracking-watches-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/306662\/","title":{"rendered":"LA Found program gets GPS tracking watches \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Los Angeles County\u2019s tracking program that aims to help caregivers of those with cognitive conditions is incorporating GPS technology, the county government announced Wednesday,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ad.lacounty.gov\/lafound\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LA Found<\/a> is a program which works in partnership with LA County law enforcement and social services to help people who tend to wander.<\/p>\n<p>With the new watches that provide live GPS updates every 15 minutes, officials hope the program will offer peace of mind to caregivers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just amazing,\u201d said Mary Brown whose 27-year-old year daughter, Jordan Hall, lives with autism and a heart defect. \u201cI wish I had it when she was younger because she had been lost so many times.
