Adventure Landing, the family-friendly amusement park in Jacksonville Beach, announced on Wednesday that has closed its doors after 30 years of operations, after being “given a short timeframe to cease operations.”<\/p>\n
Hank Woodburn, who opened Adventure Landing in 1995, said opening the park was “the privilege of a lifetime.”<\/p>\n
“We’ve been honored to be part of countless birthday parties, family traditions, and year-round memories,” said Woodburn. “Watching generations of families create joy together\u2014from parents who visited as children now bringing their own kids\u2014has been an extraordinary blessing from God.”<\/p>\n
While the location at the beaches is closed, the St. Augustine location will remain open, despite potential redevelopment<\/a>.
