Jimmy Kimmel invited back famed drag queen Trixie Mattel to revive their \u201cDrag Queen Storytime\u201d segment, which saw the \u201cRuPaul\u2019s Drag Race\u201d alum reading Eric Trump\u2019s new book to a group of kids.<\/p>\n

During Wednesday\u2019s monologue for \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!,\u201d the comedian confirmed the return of the popular segment in order to \u201cbuild a bridge and to join hands through literature\u201d after Trump received mixed reviews for \u201cUnder Siege: My Family\u2019s Fight to Save Our Nation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Per Kimmel, \u201cDrag Queen Storytime\u201d \u2014 which first started back in 2023 when Mattel read Ted Cruz\u2019s book, \u201cUnwoke: How to Defeat Cultural Marxism in America\u201d to a group of children\u00a0\u2014 was meant to give young people a chance to \u201cdecide on their own what they think about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though, as one would expect, Mattel wasn\u2019t necessarily neutral when giving the president\u2019s son\u2019s book a read, roasting the tome plenty during the segment.<\/p>\n

Mattel kicked off the storytime by asking the children point-blank, \u201cDo I scare any of you?,\u201d a clear dig at Republicans, who\u2019ve attempted to restrict where drag performances can take place.<\/p>\n

Yet, the kids on Kimmel couldn\u2019t get enough of Mattel, with one noting, \u201cYou just look amazing. Why would that be scary?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I have a whole pile of books here. What if we chose one together?\u201d Mattel went on. \u201cBecause this is, after all, a democracy. As of this morning, it\u2019s still a democracy. I\u2019m not sure.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Mattel then suggested the group read a book from \u201cPresident Trump\u2019s least favorite son?\u201d Despite some hesitation from the group, Mattel read excerpts from \u201cUnder Siege,\u201d which prompted one child to ask if they could \u201cskip the entire book.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mattel later brought the kids outside for a \u201cspecial science experiment,\u201d where they threw a copy of \u201cUnder Siege\u201d into a wood chipper<\/p>\n

\u201cThis might not be a great book, but it\u2019s going to make excellent confetti,\u201d the drag performer quipped.<\/p>\n
