With the launch of its 2025 \u201cLost &amp; Found\u201d challenge, the program blends books, beats, and self-expression to inspire young minds across the city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">In partnership with Hibbett and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/Houston_Public_Library\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/Houston_Public_Library\/\">Houston Public Library<\/a>, the program is designed to engage middle school students through real-world storytelling, culturally relevant books, and creative expression.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 kDvXdO font_openSans articleList\">\n<li class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__StackBase-sc-1fnzlkn-7 ecGWWE iQviKm\"\/><\/ul>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Running July 1 through July 25, the Lost &amp; Found challenge is open to students entering grades 6 through 8. Students will dive into curated books across four central themes: sports, technology, music, and culture. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The goal? To inspire a deeper connection to reading by linking literature to the cultural interests and everyday lives of Houston\u2019s youth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">To participate, students must apply online at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.readingwitharapper.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">readingwitharapper.com<\/a> and visit any Houston Public Library location to check out at least one book using a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/Houston_Public_Library\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/Houston_Public_Library\/\">MYLink library card<\/a>. Once they\u2019ve read the book, students will submit a one to three-minute video explaining how the story and RWAR\u2019s Lost &amp; Found Curriculum Musical Project influenced or inspired them.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 kDvXdO font_openSans articleList\">\n<li class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__StackBase-sc-1fnzlkn-7 ecGWWE iQviKm\"\/><\/ul>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The Top 50 participants will score an invitation to an exclusive Back-to-School Sneaker Party hosted at a Houston Hibbett store.
