{"id":308137,"date":"2025-10-16T13:26:15","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T13:26:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/308137\/"},"modified":"2025-10-16T13:26:15","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T13:26:15","slug":"nuclear-dudes-sandrider-high-on-fire-set-to-release-new-full-length-share-title-track","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/308137\/","title":{"rendered":"Nuclear Dudes (Sandrider\/High On Fire) set to release new full-length, share title track"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Electro powerviolence act <strong>Nuclear Dudes<\/strong> will release their new full-length Skeletal Blasphemy on November 14th via <strong>The Ghost Is Clear Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-order Skeletal Blasphemy <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/theghostisclearrecords.limitedrun.com\/products\/870181\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The project, helmed by <strong>Jon Weisnewski<\/strong> (Sandrider, Akimbo) and <strong>Coady Willis<\/strong> (High On Fire, Melvins, Murder City Devils), began as a chaotic lockdown experiment in 2020 fusing <strong>Gary Numan<\/strong>&#8216;s synth-driven sheen with <strong>Carcass<\/strong>&#8216;s grinding aggression, and has since evolved into a broader collaborative venture.<\/p>\n<p>Weisnewski shared the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Nuclear Dudes started as &#8216;something to do&#8217; during the pandemic. Turns out it&#8217;s real sticky. It&#8217;s become a consistent project that is exploring metal\/grind, synth, and collaborating with musicians I love and admire.<\/p>\n<p>Coady and I started planning this release in 2023 and both worked on it on the side through 2024,. Coady recorded all the drums at his own studio. I recorded all instruments and vocals at my house or practice space in Seattle, Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Some songs I wrote isolated and Coady played to them (&#8216;Skeletal Blasphemy,&#8217; &#8216;Fully Clothed,&#8217; &#8216;Still Afraid&#8217;), and some songs were a drum part that Coady put together that I layered music on top of (&#8216;Tastes Like Medicine,&#8217; &#8216;The Octopus&#8217;).
