Goodwill San Antonio is asking the community to donate any gently used items from Oct. 17-19 for their Trunk and Treat Halloween Donation Drive.\u00a0<\/a>The donations can be dropped off at any Goodwill San Antonio locations.\u00a0<\/p>\n Organizers said every donor will receive a limited-edition Halloween Good William sticker- while supplies last. Goodwill is also trying to alleviate the strain on festive budgets with a 50% discount off all Halloween items from Oct. 19-31. \u00a0<\/p>\n This year Goodwill Industries International conducted a survey which showed that 87% of Americans plan to celebrate the holiday this year and 84% of DIY costume creators choose Goodwill as their top thrift destination.\u00a0<\/p>\n According to a press release from the company, each donation and purchase made at Goodwill helps fund access to training and employment assistance through the Goodwill Academy & Career Services, including job opportunities within the organization.\u00a0<\/p>\n And if you’re looking for inspiration, Goodwill also has a Lookbook and Style Guide,<\/a> featuring costumes and decorations made from thrifted pieces.\u00a0<\/p>\n
