{"id":309075,"date":"2025-10-16T21:44:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T21:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/309075\/"},"modified":"2025-10-16T21:44:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T21:44:10","slug":"worlds-largest-cowboy-boots-land-guinness-world-records-spotlight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/309075\/","title":{"rendered":"World&#8217;s largest cowboy boots land Guinness World Record&#8217;s spotlight!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN ANTONIO &#8211; A local icon is being recognised as one of Texas&#8217;s must-see road trip destinations!<\/p>\n<p>In honor of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.com\/news\/2025\/9\/take-a-record-breaking-road-trip-across-america-from-giant-cowboy-boots-to-dino-skeletons\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.com\/news\/2025\/9\/take-a-record-breaking-road-trip-across-america-from-giant-cowboy-boots-to-dino-skeletons\" class=\"themeColorForLinks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Guinness World Records\u2019 70th anniversary,<\/a> they\u2019re highlighting a few record-breaking spots across the U.S. \u2014 and our giant cowboy boots at North Star Mall made the list!<\/p>\n<p>They were officially named the world\u2019s largest cowboy boot sculpture back in 2014 and now they\u2019re being featured again in the upcoming Guinness World Records 2026 book as a \u201cmust-see\u201d road trip stop across America.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From the largest cowboy boot sculpture to the largest horn spread on a living cow, it\u2019s no wonder Texas is known for size!&#8221; said Guinness World Records in a statement. &#8220;Our first stop is San Antonio, where the world\u2019s largest cowboy boot sculpture stands at an incredible 35 ft 3 in (10.74 m) tall.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Artist Bob Wade, who erected the boots just outside the North Star Mall, just north of downtown, along Loop 410, says he didn&#8217;t design the art piece with record-breaking in mind.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea that one of my projects would end up in this famous publication is pretty overwhelming,\u201d said Bob Wade. &#8220;It\u2019s incredible to be featured in the book alongside other amazing records and record-holders.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Other stops along this Texas-sized road trip include the largest belt buckle: 10 ft 6 in x 14 ft 6.4 in (3.20 m x 4.43 m), the largest spur: 33 ft 10.75 in (10.33 m) tall, 21 ft 1.5 in (6.44 m) long and 8 ft 8.52 in (2.65 m) wide, and the largest homecoming corsage (mum): 290.64 ft (27 m)!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.com\/news\/2025\/9\/take-a-record-breaking-road-trip-across-america-from-giant-cowboy-boots-to-dino-skeletons\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.com\/news\/2025\/9\/take-a-record-breaking-road-trip-across-america-from-giant-cowboy-boots-to-dino-skeletons\" class=\"themeColorForLinks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">See their entire cross-country road trip list here!<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SAN ANTONIO &#8211; A local icon is being recognised as one of Texas&#8217;s must-see road trip destinations!
