{"id":310130,"date":"2025-10-17T07:14:17","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T07:14:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/310130\/"},"modified":"2025-10-17T07:14:17","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T07:14:17","slug":"state-suspends-st-cloud-healthcare-license-amid-medicaid-fraud-probe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/310130\/","title":{"rendered":"State Suspends St. Cloud Healthcare License Amid Medicaid Fraud Probe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(KNSI) \u2013 Authorities are investigating five more companies \u2013 including one in St. Cloud \u2013 connected to those recently indicted for allegedly stealing from the state\u2019s Medicaid program.<\/p>\n<p>Anwar Ahmed Adow is a managing employee for 24hrs Homecare LLC, which has an office in St. Cloud and another in Blaine. The Minnesota Department of Human Services <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.state.mn.us\/main\/idcplg?IdcService=GET_DYNAMIC_CONVERSION&amp;RevisionSelectionMethod=LatestReleased&amp;dDocName=LLO_470792\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><strong>sent a letter<\/strong><\/a> to Adow on October 9th notifying him that his license \u201cto provide Home and Community-Based Services at 2719 West Division Street, Suite 111, St. Cloud\u201d has been immediately suspended. The letter cites a determination that \u201ca controlling individual is criminally charged with an offense that involves fraud or theft against a program administered by a state or federal agency.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>KNSI News went to the address listed in the letter and found an apparently office space tucked inside a narrow hallway with a for rent sign on the door. No one answered when we knocked.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Adow was one of <a href=\"https:\/\/knsiradio.com\/2025\/09\/18\/eight-charged-in-281-million-minnesota-housing-program-fraud-scheme-first-wave-of-federal-cases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><strong>eight people charged<\/strong><\/a> with wire fraud connected to the Housing Stabilization Services program. Investigators discovered the 25-year-old\u2019s company, Liberty Plus, received more than $1.2 million for services claimed for approximately 200 beneficiaries. He allegedly used the money to lease a 2023 Mercedes-Benz CLA and make investments.<\/p>\n<p>The names of the other businesses being investigated are ARMHS Reach in Fridley, Bayside Care LLC, Hearth Home Services, and Safe Haven Autism Center in St. Paul.<\/p>\n<p>___<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2025 Leighton Media.
