Luka Vuskovic\u2019s latest admission will excite Spurs fans, with the Tottenham defender revealing that he tries to model his game on a Premier League title-winning centre-back.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vuskovic<\/a> will link up with the Tottenham squad<\/a> for the first time this summer on the back of an outstanding season on loan at Belgian side Westerlo and winning his first senior cap for his country.<\/p>\n

Tottenham fans are eagerly waiting to see what the 18-year-old can do in a Spurs<\/a> shirt, and according to reports, Thomas Frank is keen to take a closer look at Vuskovic<\/a>, with the Dane not ruling out making him part of his first-team plans for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

This is even though Vuskovic is attracting loan interest<\/a>, with Frank and Spurs facing a big decision over the Croat over the next two months.<\/p>\n

The teenage centre-back got an opportunity to train and play alongside the heroes he looked up to earlier this month when he was handed his senior Croatia debut by manager Zlatko Dalic.<\/p>\n

The youngster revealed that Man City star Josko Gvardiol, in particular, caught his eye, suggesting that he has similar attributes to the 23-year-old, who has been a revelation at the Etihad Stadium.<\/p>\n

Vuskovic told Hajduk TV<\/a> (as relayed by 24 Sata<\/a>): \u201cMy defensive role model is Josko Gvardiol. He\u2019s a beast, I\u2019ve never seen anything like it \u2014 he\u2019s like an alien.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have similarities, but when you see him play, you get scared by how good he is. We work well together \u2014 he handles things, and I help, ha ha.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luka Vuskovic is confident he can make a mark at Tottenham<\/p>\n

It has been a long wait for the defender to arrive at Hotspur Way<\/a>, having signed for the Lilywhites from Hajduk Split back in 2023.<\/p>\n

Vuskovic is very excited to train with the Europa League champions<\/a>, with the centre-back keen to make his mark.<\/p>\n

The Croatia international has said that despite the step up in quality that the Premier League<\/a> represents, he is not afraid of the challenge that awaits him in North London.<\/p>\n
