Some of the hottest weather on record at the All England Club hasn’t put off some of the world’s biggest stars from heading down to SW19 for day two at Wimbledon<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Indeed, more than a few of the famous faces spotted in the Royal Box to watch today’s tennis action unfold are more than used to warm weather…as three of Australia’s biggest A-listers took their seats on Centre Court.<\/p>\n

Cate Blanchett<\/a> followed David Beckham<\/a>‘s lead from day one by escorting her mother to the Championships. The 56-year-old\u00a0T\u00e1r actress cut an elegant figure as she chatted to her mother June ahead of the day’s play.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And fellow Aussie star Rebel Wilson<\/a> was also in attendance, with wife Ramona by her side, while a dapper-looking\u00a0Russell Crowe<\/a>\u00a0was also seen taking in the tennis action with fianc\u00e9e Britney Theriot.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, homegrown acting talent featured, with Black Doves and Happy Valley<\/a> star Sarah Lancashire<\/a> enjoying a day out with husband Peter Salmon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

TV writer Sally Wainwright, who wrote Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax<\/a>, also joined the fortunate few in the Royal Box, alongside big names from the world of sport, including golfer Justin Rose, Judy Murray and Sir Jackie Stewart.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Play began at 1:30pm, with tennis superstars\u00a0Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff both scheduled to play on the tournament’s grandstand court today.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A-lister Cate was pictured alongside her mother, retired teacher June, as the second day of action at the All England Club got underway at 1:30pm on Centre Court.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 56-year-old has been enjoying other major events in London’s calendar, including stepping out\u00a0for the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in London last week.<\/p>\n

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pitch Perfect star Wilson, 45, who tied the knot not once but twice with her partner Ramona Agruma, 40, were pictured together on Centre Court this afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wilson once famously enjoyed an affair with a mystery tennis star – detailed in her autobiography Rebel Rising – ahead of her falling for Agruma, who she shares a daughter, Royce, with.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Russell Crowe and Britney Theriot<\/p>\n

Jetting in from Malta where he was pictured looking svelte at the weekend, Gladiator star Russell Crowe, 60, arrived at Centre Court with\u00a0fianc\u00e9e Britney Theriot.<\/p>\n

Justin and Kate Rose<\/p>\n

Professional golfer Justin Rose, a dedicated tennis fan who’s been spotted in the Royal Box before, was in attendance with his wife Kate today.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In April,\u00a0Kate was labeled as Rory McIlroy’s ‘mystery woman’ after she was spotted hugging and congratulating her husband’s rival at the Masters, sending social media into a frenzy, before being identified as the runner-up’s wife.<\/p>\n

Rose took the situation in good humour, saying he thought that it was ‘pretty funny’ when the mystery woman ‘turned out to be\u00a0Kate’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sarah Lancashire and Peter Salmon\u00a0<\/p>\n

British acting star Sarah Lancashire joined her husband Peter Salmon for a rare public outing on day two.<\/p>\n

The actress, 60, was the picture of elegance in a floaty white summer dress as she braved the blistering heatwave during the outing at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, with former BBC North head Peter, 69, looking dapper in a navy blue suit with floral tie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sir Jackie Stewart<\/p>\n

Former F1 driver Sir Jackie (aka the Flying Scotsman) appears to be a keen tennis fan, as he has been spotted in Wimbledon’s famous Royal Box before.<\/p>\n

The 86-year-old has been married to his childhood sweetheart Lady Helen, 84, since 1962, and the couple share two sons – Paul and Mark.<\/p>\n

Lady Helen suffers from frontotemporal dementia. He was accompanied today by his granddaughter Leona Stewart.<\/p>\n

Julia Donaldson\u00a0<\/p>\n

Known to parents and children across the land, Julia Donaldson is the writer behind The Gruffalo and dozens of other children’s books.\u00a0The Sussex-based writer was seated beside Christine Donaldson.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sir Bill Beaumont and Lady Beaumont<\/p>\n

Bill Beaumont,\u00a0Chairman of World Rugby, looked sharp in a black suit as he arrived at the Royal Box<\/p>\n

Former rugby union player Sir William Blackledge Beaumont was captain of the England rugby union team, earning 34 caps – and A Question of Sport team captain alongside footballer Emlyn Hughes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sir Bill, who has been Chairman of World Rugby since 1 July 2016, attended with his wife Lady Beaumont.<\/p>\n

Deborah Jevans<\/p>\n

British former tennis player Deborah Jevans CBE has been at the hallowed location numerous times, as a former junior Wimbledon champion.<\/p>\n

She also played 10 times in the women’s singles (between 1979 and 1983). Her best result was reaching the fourth round, when she lost to fifth-seeded Virginia Wade.<\/p>\n

Ms Jevans also played in the doubles event, reaching the quarter finals of the mixed doubles event in 1978, playing with her future husband and Wimbledon referee Andrew Jarrett.<\/p>\n

She became the first chairwoman of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club Board in 2023, succeeding Ian Hewitt.<\/p>\n

In 2013, she was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the New Year Honours due to her services to Sport and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games’, when she served as director of sports for the event.<\/p>\n

Baroness Sue Campbell of Loughborough<\/p>\n

After a 55-year career in sports administration – including a role as chair of UK Sport between 2003 and 2013 – Baroness Sue Campbell is used to watching athletics of the highest level.<\/p>\n

She retired from her role as the FA’s Director of Women’s Football in December, after taking up the position in 2016 and enjoying significant success in the job.<\/p>\n

Lady Rose Gilman<\/p>\n

The youngest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Lady Rose Gilman, 45, attended Wimbledon alongside Alexander Armstrong today.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lady Tamara van Cutsem<\/p>\n

Lady Tamara van Custsem is the eldest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Westminster.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She is the elder sister of the Duke of Westminster, Hugh Richard Louis Grosvenor, who inherited his father’s entire \u00a39billion estate after he died in 2016, and is now one of the UK’s wealthiest men.<\/p>\n

Vim and Pooja Maru<\/p>\n

Vim Maru, CEO of Barclays UK, observed the live action from the Royal Box today alongside his wife, Pooja.<\/p>\n

Vim joined Barclays in 2023, and one year later, he became the CEO of the UK branch.<\/p>\n

Before his current position, he has worked impressive roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Santander, and PwC.<\/p>\n

Alexander Armstrong\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pointless host Alexander Armstrong appeared in high spirits as he arrived at Wimbledon for a day of tennis action.<\/p>\n
