PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — This week on FYI Philly, it’s time to scream for Halloween with haunts that will leave you shaking! We also share some ideas to create your own spooky masterpiece and round up some tricks and treats for Halloween eats.<\/p>\n
If you’re looking for a haunt with a theatrical spin, the scare actors, sets, scenes, and props at Lincoln Mill Haunted House<\/strong> are for you.<\/p>\n Now in it’s fourth season, a labryinth trek takes you inside a covert project that was conceived by the dastardly Vicktor Kane. Thirty years later its become a tradition for many in the Mullica Hill area and beyond.<\/p>\n The farm has 5 attractions to experience: a hayride, a walk-through field called the Harvest, there is the Playground, Dark Dreams and Haunted Paint Ball. Each encounter comes with its own level of fear. After all the fright, there is a collection of food and drink vendors with a diverse menu of fall favorites that you can enjoy by the fire.<\/p>\n Night of Terror runs through November 1 and then they quickly convert the farm to the Night of Lights: Country Christmas on The Farm that opens Thanksgiving weekend.<\/p>\n Creamy Acres Farm Night of Terror<\/a> | Facebook <\/a>| Instagram<\/a><\/strong> You can enjoy your spooky season at Frightland.<\/strong><\/p>\n It’s a 1800-acre farm in in Middletown, Delaware that they consider a scream park. With a fright pass, you get admission to eight haunting attractions, starting with a haunted hayride that’s over a mile long.<\/p>\n For a more cheerful scream, you have the option to ride amusement rides offered in their carnival, as well as enjoy some of your favorite carnival fare.<\/p>\n Frightland is open on Thursdays through Sunday until November 8th.<\/p>\n Frightland <\/a>| Facebook <\/a>| Instagram<\/a><\/strong> Every Saturday evening in October, the Betsy Ross House<\/strong> in Old City is hosting what’s called a Bloodletting & Burials Tour where you learn macabre facts about life in the 18th century.<\/p>\n The entire tour is designed to be both gross and spooky, but also fun and informative. It also includes a self-guided Spooky twilight tour, where you can interact with America’s most famous seamstress. With a menu of craft cocktails themed for a ghoulishly good night and creative dishes on the menu you will not be disappointed. There are ‘blood bag cocktails’ for a happy hour transfusion and the stuffed peppers are carved to look like Jack Skellington. Everywhere you look there are lights and spiders, webs and scary movie references. It is a totally immersive night out.<\/p>\n Evil Genius<\/strong> is going all-in on the Evil part this fall. The craft brewery has turned its space into the ‘Taproom of Horrors.’ There are 7 sections devoted to the diabolical. From scary clowns to some of the scariest characters ever created, there are plenty of frightfully fun things to see. The award-winning beer can be made blood red and they serve a curated list of cocktails for the Halloween experience.<\/p>\n The Red Rum Theater at the Curtis Center<\/strong> is bringing the Sanderson Sisters to life from the movie Hocus Pocus. The company aims to make it friendly for everyone, whether you’re starting a simple porch setup, have a small one, or are creating a giant haunt year after year.<\/p>\n Haunted Hill Farm products are available on the Haunted Hill Farm website and other online retailers like Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart, Wayfair, and Lowe’s.<\/p>\n Haunted Hill Farm<\/a>| Facebook<\/a>| Instagram<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Million Dollar Quartet<\/strong> shines a spotlight on four major figures in rock and roll: Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins<\/p>\n The show is based on a real-life jam session between the four in December of 1956 at Sun Records, with its legendary owner, Sam Phillips.<\/p>\n Along with the 5 men, the show includes one woman named Dyanne. She is a fictional character based on Elvis’s real-life girlfriend at the time who was there that night and sang along with the quartet.
