{"id":312373,"date":"2025-10-18T03:19:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-18T03:19:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/312373\/"},"modified":"2025-10-18T03:19:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-18T03:19:14","slug":"dozens-of-no-kings-protests-will-be-held-across-los-angeles-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/312373\/","title":{"rendered":"Dozens of &#8216;No Kings&#8217; protests will be held across Los Angeles County"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Building on the \u201c<a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2025-06-14\/la-me-no-kings-marches-los-angeles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">No Kings\u201d protests in June<\/a>, organizations across the United States, including those in Southern California, are once again rallying and marching Saturday to protest against the Trump administration. <\/p>\n<p>On June 14, more than 50 million people across all 50 states joined in one of the largest single-day protests against \u201cPresident Trump\u2019s authoritarianism,\u201d according to Studio City Rising, a local event organizer. <\/p>\n<p>The latest \u201cNo Kings\u201d rallies and marches will take place  in  dozens of Los Angeles County locations. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur community is peacefully coming together to push back against President Trump\u2019s violent, authoritarian actions,\u201d said Studio City Rising. \u201cWe\u2019re standing with our neighbors and residents from all over our city to share a simple resolved message: We don\u2019t do dictators or kings in America. Our diversity is our strength and empathy is our superpower.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The national event is backed by groups that include the American Civil Liberties Union, American Federation of Teachers, Common Defense, 50501 Movement, Human Rights Campaign, Indivisible, League of Conservation Voters, MoveOn, National Nurses United, Public Citizen and Service Employees International Union.<\/p>\n<p>An interactive map of \u201cNo Kings\u201d events across the U.S. can be <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nokings.org\/#map\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found online<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>  Here is an alphabetical list of 30 of the \u201cNo Kings\u201d rallies in Los Angeles County, the times and locations, along with notes for attendees. <\/p>\n<p><b>Alhambra <\/b><br \/><b>When:<\/b> 10 a.m. to noon<br \/><b>Where:<\/b> Alhambra Park, 500 N. Palm Ave.<br \/><b>Event notes:<\/b> Attendees <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/842350\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will gather at the park<\/a> on the corner of Alhambra Road and North Palm Avenue. There will be access to restrooms. <\/p>\n<p><b>Beverly Hills <\/b><br \/><b>When:<\/b> 2 to 4 p.m.<br \/><b>Where:<\/b> Along Olympic Boulevard at Roxbury Park, 471 South Roxbury Drive <br \/><b>Event notes:<\/b> Nearby on-street parking is available. Organizers <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/851245\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">encourage attendees to carpool<\/a> to avoid any parking problems.<\/p>\n<p><b>Burbank<\/b><br \/><b>When: <\/b>2:30 to 4:30 p.m.<br \/><b>Where: <\/b>Abraham Lincoln Park, 300 N. Buena Vista St. <br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b>Attendees <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/851124\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will have access<\/a> to restrooms. The event will take place mainly on flat ground. <\/p>\n<p><b>Covina<\/b><br \/><b>When: <\/b>4 to 7 p.m.<br \/><b>Where: <\/b>Heritage Plaza Park, 400 N. Citrus Ave.<br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b>Attendees <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/841667\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will have access to<\/a> bathrooms and the rally will take place mainly on flat ground. <\/p>\n<p><b>El Segundo<\/b><br \/><b>When: <\/b>10 a.m. to noon<br \/><b>Where:<\/b> Main Street and East Imperial Avenue <br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b><a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/845767\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Organizers say this rally<\/a> is slated to be a family-friendly, dog-friendly and nonviolent community event. Attendees are asked to stay on the grassy areas and off of the roads.<\/p>\n<p><b>Glendale <\/b><br \/><b>When: <\/b>noon to 2 p.m.<br \/><b>Where: <\/b>Public plaza outside the Social Security Office, 225 W. Broadway<br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b>The <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/841877\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">event will take place<\/a> mainly on flat ground. <\/p>\n<p><b>La Habra<\/b><br \/><b>When: <\/b>10 a.m. to noon<br \/><b>Where: <\/b>The corner of South Beach Boulevard and Imperial Highway<br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b>Attendees <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/855423\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will have access to<\/a> bathrooms and dedicated parking spots. <\/p>\n<p><b>Lakewood <\/b><br \/><b>When:<\/b> noon to 2 p.m. <br \/><b>Where:<\/b> Lakewood City Hall, 5050 Clark Ave.<br \/><b>Event notes:<\/b> Attendees are <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/839470\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">asked to meet in<\/a> front of Lakewood City Hall at noon for a quick introduction speech along with a reading of the poem, \u201cBread and Roses\u201d  by James Oppenheim. Beaudry Ave. <br \/><b>Event notes:<\/b> <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/857153\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Education Workers including school<\/a> custodians, teachers, special education assistants, food service workers, principals, school maintenance workers, child care providers and others will rally and march from the headquarters of the Los Angeles Unified School District to join the massive \u201cNo Kings\u201d rally in downtown Los Angeles. <\/p>\n<p><b>Los Angeles, downtown<\/b><br \/><b>When: <\/b>2 to 5 p.m.<br \/><b>Where:<\/b> 200 N. Spring St. <br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b>The rally and march is hosted by <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/839386\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Democracy Action Network and Indivisible DTLA No Kings<\/a>. The event will be held mainly on flat ground. <\/p>\n<p><b>Los Angeles, downtown<\/b><br \/><b>When:<\/b> 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.<br \/><b>Where:<\/b> In the larger park, up the hill from the main crowd where the park intersects North Hill Street <br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b><a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/855946\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">No Kings Silver Lake<\/a> suggests protesters join the event dressed as a taco. Judy Chu (D-Monterey Park) and Sen. Sasha Ren\u00e9e P\u00e9rez (D-Pasadena). Music will be provided by the Nextdoors band and the All Saints drum circle. A long banner-style petition will be available for attendees to sign.<\/p>\n<p><b>Rancho Palos Verdes <\/b><br \/><b>When:<\/b> 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.<br \/><b>Where: <\/b>1 Trump National Drive<br \/><b>Event notes:<\/b> The <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/851793\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">No Kings Harbor of Hope Rally<\/a> will include parking access for attendees and will take place mainly on flat ground. <\/p>\n<p><b>San Dimas <\/b><br \/><b>When: <\/b>11 a.m. to 3 p.m.<br \/><b>Where: <\/b>The corner of West Arrow Highway and West Bonita Avenue<br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b>The rally <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/857449\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will take place<\/a> on flat ground. <\/p>\n<p><b>San Pedro<\/b><br \/><b>When:<\/b> 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.<br \/><b>Where:<\/b> The address will be shared upon submitting an <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/858429\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online RSVP<\/a>.<br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b>Organizers <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/858429\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anticipate a large showing of demonstrators<\/a> as a car show is taking place the same weekend. The rally will take place mainly on flat ground and there will be bathrooms nearby. <\/p>\n<p><b>Santa Monica<\/b><br \/><b>When: <\/b>11 a.m. to 1 p.m.<br \/><b>Where:<\/b> Palisades Park on Ocean Avenue<br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b>Event <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/840831\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hosts say parking is available<\/a> at the beach parking lots and attendees can walk over the Montana Avenue or Idaho Avenue bridge to the rally. Attendees are encouraged to spread across Palisades Park from the California Incline to San Vicente Boulevard while staying on the grass. Santa Monica police officers will be in attendance to keep the event peaceful. <\/p>\n<p><b>Sherman Oaks <\/b><br \/><b>When:<\/b> 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.<br \/><b>Where: <\/b>15233 Ventura Blvd.<br \/><b>Event notes: <\/b>The <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilize.us\/nokings\/event\/847127\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rally will take place across<\/a> from the Sherman Oaks Galleria. Carson St. <br \/><b>Event notes:<\/b> The march will begin at El Prado Park, which is directly across from Torrance High School, and end at Torrance City Hall. Participants are asked to keep sidewalks clear, stay on the grass and avoid blocking entrances and driveways. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own signs, flags, water, snacks, sunscreen as well as comfortable hats and shoes.
