We’re tracking a cold front set to move across the state on Saturday. This will bring the chance of showers and storms, primarily across East and North Texas Saturday afternoon. Some storms could be strong with small hail and strong winds. Once the front blows through North Texas, temperatures will plummet some 15 degrees from the mid-90s Saturday to highs in the upper 70s Sunday. Sunday will be the pick day statewide with cooler highs in the 70s and 80s.<\/p>\n

A new video from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is sparking controversy in airports across the country, including in El Paso.<\/p>\n

The message, featuring DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, blames \u201cDemocrats in Congress\u201d for the ongoing government shutdown. While numerous airports, including those in Dallas and San Antonio, chose not to play the video, El Paso International Airport is showing it at Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints.<\/p>\n
