People Magazine,<\/a> a criminal complaint was filed at the Van Nuys courthouse on Wednesday. Phypers is facing criminal charges including two counts of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fianc\u00e9, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent; and two counts of dissuading a witness by force or threat. Three of the alleged incidents took place on Jan 17, 2022, and one on May 3, 2022 according to documents obtained by People.<\/p>\nPhypers filed for divorce in July, and Richards was granted a temporary restraining order at the time after allegations of physical and emotional abuse during their marriage, including an alleged violent incident that occurred around the time he filed for divorce.<\/p>\n
During the hearing earlier this month, Richards stated that her former husband \u201ccaused me at least three concussions\u201d during their marriage, according to People Magazine.<\/p>\n
She also claimed he attempted to destroy her reputation following their breakup by stealing her laptop and leaking sensitive information and nude photos of her, per Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n
In a statement to People magazine, Phypers denied Richards’ allegations, saying, “I absolutely deny the false allegations that I violated the restraining order or stole Denise’s laptop or cellphones.
