Selena Gomez Responds To Hailey Bieber Interview<\/p>\n
Selena Gomez<\/a> is clearing the air (again) on social media (again) about her rumored and seemingly long-standing feud with Hailey Bieber<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Selena-Hailey situation has been literally going on for years<\/a> now. Earlier this year, Hailey and her reps had to put out statements<\/a> after speculation that she shaded Selena on TikTok.<\/p>\n Now, there’s new rumors of rancor emerging from Hailey’s recent interview with WSJ. Magazine<\/a>, in which she addresses her Rhode beauty brand being compared with other brands. (In case you forgot, Selena also has a beauty brand, Rare.)<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s always annoying being pitted against other people,\u201d she said. \u201cI didn\u2019t ask for that…I think there is space for everybody\u2026I don\u2019t feel competitive with people that I\u2019m not inspired by.\u201d<\/p>\n Naturally, speculation ensued that Hailey was referring specifically to Selena \u2014 especially in regards to that comment about who she’s inspired by. For what it’s worth, TMZ<\/a> claims that sources connected to Hailey that she wasn’t referring to Selena, so there’s that as well.<\/p>\n Of course, Selena’s seldom met a topic that she won’t comment on social media about \u2014 so she issued her own statement regarding Hailey’s comments on a since-deleted IG Story slide<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cJust leave the girl alone,” she wrote. “She can say whatever she wants. Doesn\u2019t affect my life whatsoever. It\u2019s just about relevance not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone. And hopefully we can all stop.\u201d<\/p>\n OK!
