In San Diego\u2019s neighborhoods, you can ask yourself that question more than a few times a month, any month. <\/p>\n
According to city data<\/a>, at least a few new businesses open every month with a business tax certificate identifying them as a restaurant. Since 2021, most months have seen more than a handful of new restaurants.<\/p>\n (Note, these numbers show just the businesses licensed as full- or limited-service restaurants.
