No. 9 Georgia is out for revenge Saturday afternoon as it hosts No. 5 Ole Miss in an important clash between two of the SEC’s top programs. The Rebels stunned the Bulldogs at home last season, earning their first win against Georgia since 1995.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ole Miss also hasn’t beat Georgia in back-to-back seasons in 30 years. The Rebels are one of just two remaining undefeated SEC teams which means, with a win today, they will take a commanding lead in the SEC Championship Game race. They’ll also solidify their status as a virtual College Football Playoff shoe-in, provided there are no late-season slipups.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Georgia, meanwhile, already has its back against the wall a bit. The Bulldogs lost, once again, to Alabama a couple of weeks ago. Georgia could brunt a second loss — especially to a team of Ole Miss’ caliber — but it would set it behind in the SEC and eliminate its margin for error for the rest of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
