JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters and other JSO members held a Neighborhood Crime Prevention Walk Saturday morning in the Ortega Forest neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The walk began and ended at John Stockton Elementary School.<\/p>\n

Several residents were seen joining JSO during the walk throughout the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

According to JSO, these walks give Waters and his team the opportunity to connect directly with the community, listen to their concerns, and work toward solutions. <\/p>\n

\u201cNo issue is too small when it comes to your safety,\u201d JSO wrote in a Facebook post.<\/p>\n

The sheriff has held crime prevention walks in many other areas including Arlington, Nocatee and the Westside.<\/p>\n
