Actor John Cusack<\/strong> had a message for President Donald Trump<\/strong> and his \u201cmasked goons\u201d on behalf of his hometown of Chicago: \u201cGo to hell!\u201d<\/p>\n

Cusask, during a brief interview with CNN on Saturday at the No Kings rally in Chicago, blasted the president \u2014 something he has enjoyed doing frequently over the last decade. In particular, The High Fidelity star told reporter Whitney Wild<\/strong> he was upset about Trump sending Border Patrol and ICE agents to the city to deport illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone knows the score, right? The authoritarians divide and conquer and they create an \u2018other\u2019 and then they pick on it, pick on the person, harass them, jail them, and that\u2019s all used as a direction so they can steal as much as they can [and] maintain power,\u201d Cusack said. \u201cWe all know history. So, that\u2019s what he\u2019s doing, and we have masked goons roaming the streets, hiding their faces, abducting people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cusack, in a different clip shared by CNN later, told the president to go to hell, before adding Trump was ignorant of Chicago\u2019s liberal history.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s interesting is that he doesn\u2019t understand that all the labor rights around the world came from this town, this place,\u201d Cusack said. \u201cSo if he thinks this place is going to be a fascist hub \u2013 no chance.\u201d<\/p>\n

This was not the first time Cusack has skewered the president. Cusack has been doing it for years on X, where he has called Trump an \u201cidiot sociopath\u201d<\/a> and a \u201cderanged criminal Nazi,\u201d<\/a> among other insults.<\/p>\n

Cusack, on Saturday, also gave Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker<\/strong> (D) kudos for fighting back against Trump\u2019s \u201cfascism.\u201d <\/a><\/p>\n

Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnso<\/strong>n (D) have both vocally opposed the president\u2019s use of ICE and Border Patrol agents, as well as his deployment of the National Guard to Chicago, with Pritzker recently saying the president is \u201cinciting\u201d citizens to violence<\/a> against federal agents.<\/p>\n

Cusack speaking to CNN is a bit ironic, though, when you consider he blasted the channel on Election Day 2024:<\/p>\n
